What is Robosoma?

A real-time strategy game about an autonomous robot colony on Mars. You build a base, mine resources, manage production and expand across the planet.

Is the game free?

Yes. There are no ads, paid resources, subscriptions or in-game purchases.

Which devices are supported?

There are Windows and Android versions. Android needs a 64-bit processor and Android 8 or newer. Windows needs Windows 10/11 and a graphics adapter with Vulkan or DirectX 12 support.

Where can I download it safely?

Android is available from Google Play and RuStore. The official site also offers a direct APK. The Windows version is one executable from the download page.

Windows says “Unknown publisher”. Is that dangerous?

The executable is not yet signed with a paid code-signing certificate, so SmartScreen cannot identify the publisher. Download only from robosoma.ru and compare its SHA-256 with the value on the download page.

Can I play without the internet?

Yes. Single player, the built-in commander and saves work offline. The internet is needed for an online match, update checks and an optional external language model.

Do I need an OpenAI or other API key?

No. A key is needed only for special modes using an external language model. A normal single-player match uses the built-in commander.

What does “Mars at 1:1 scale” mean?

The planet radius, distances and heights preserve physical scale. Five kilometres in the game are five kilometres. Small surface details and deposits are generated procedurally.

Is the map an exact copy of Mars?

Global terrain is based on MOLA data. An optional detailed pack combines HRSC and MOLA. Rocks, small bumps and exact deposits are not claimed as observations of a specific site.

Can I control a Robosoma directly?

Yes. Normally you command from above like a classic RTS. A selected Robosoma can be controlled in first person for walking and combat.

Is there online play?

Yes, an experimental 1v1 match is available. The planned global world with many players is a long-term goal and is not in the current build.

Is this a finished game?

No. The main loop works, but balance, interface and mechanics continue to change. Check the known issues.

How should I report a bug?

Include the platform, game version, device, exact steps, expected result and actual result. A screenshot or save file can make reproduction much faster. Use the structured form.
