What the current build can do

Game and mechanics

Robosoma combines classic top-down strategy with a physical world. A real machine carries each load, buildings have entrances and internal storage, and the ship burns actual fuel.

Colony and production

The first buildings form a visible chain. If one link has no power, no input or no free storage, the problem appears in the world.

Headquarters and territory

The HQ defines a construction zone and starts as the first storage node. A distant base begins with another HQ.

Power

A reactor powers the colony. If supply is too low, production slows and the information panels show why.

Mining and processing

An extractor must stand on a deposit. A workshop turns delivered regolith into metal that must be collected again.

Storage and queues

Cargo physically enters through gates. A full warehouse or a queue of carriers can stop the whole chain.

Robosoma factory

New machines consume delivered metal and leave a specific factory instead of appearing next to the pointer.

Multiple colonies

Distant bases run their own logistics while remaining part of one strategy on the same sphere.

Fuel from local resources

Carbon dioxide comes from the atmosphere, but fuel also needs water from ice or soil. Electrolysis supplies hydrogen and oxygen; the Sabatier reaction makes methane and recycles water.

The chain is based on real ISRU concepts, while rates and building sizes are tuned for play. See Science.

The Strizh hopper

Autopilot

Choose a destination and the ship follows a ballistic arc, then attempts to land. Range depends on fuel and mass.

Manual cockpit

Throttle, pitch, roll, lateral thrusters, instruments and auto-landing. A fast or sideways touchdown can destroy the ship.

Transport

Strizh carries Robosomas and cargo between regions where a surface journey would take too long.

Top-down and first person

From above you select groups, issue orders and build. The eye button moves the camera into one selected Robosoma so you can walk through the base, enter buildings and take part in combat.

Commanders and network play

Available now

Built-in commander

A normal offline game needs neither the internet nor an API key.

Available now

External model

An optional mode connects an OpenAI-compatible model. It receives limited observations and uses ordinary game commands.

Available now

Online 1v1

Two players begin on the same planet. The current online mode remains experimental.

Long-term goal

One living Mars

Thousands of colonies, clans and diplomacy on one sphere. This is not in the public build yet.
